LEOPARD is an Australian red wine brand with an identity built around the leopard - a symbol of power and premium quality. The range covers Merlot and Shiraz within its Vintage Reserve series, each label pairing an elegant script brand name with a dynamic leopard graphic and metallic detail. The Vintage Reserve positioning targets a gift and celebration audience, where the packaging is expected to feel premium from the very first glance.
The Challenge
Entering the Chinese gift market meant the packaging itself had to carry the brand. LEOPARD needed a consistent premium identity across bottle labels, neck bands and presentation gift boxes, while still letting each variety feel distinct - and the gift box had to do as much selling as the bottle inside it.
Our Solution
KAYU designed and printed the LEOPARD label system: bottle labels and neck bands for the Merlot and Shiraz lines, plus windowed gift boxes that frame the bottle in gold-tone packaging. The leopard motif runs through the whole range - from full-pattern labels to spot illustrations - with metallic foil accents on both labels and boxes. Everything was printed to a tight colour standard so the range reads as one family from shelf to gift box.
