FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

Digital labels: from 500 pieces. Flexo labels, folding cartons and roll labels: from 1,000 pieces. Rigid and magnetic boxes: from 500 pieces. Flexible pouches: from 5,000 pieces. Small brands are welcome - we do not play MOQ bait games.

Can I get samples before placing an order?

Yes. Structural samples and print proofs are free. Finished samples are available at cost (refundable with your first order). Shipping charges apply but are credited on confirmed orders.

How long does production take?

Typically 7-15 working days after artwork approval, depending on the process (digital is fastest, rigid boxes and gravure take longer). Urgent orders can be scheduled - tell us your deadline in the quote request.

What file formats do you accept?

AI, PDF, CDR, EPS and high-resolution JPG/PNG. We can also create or adjust your artwork - structural design, dielines and prepress are part of our service.

Can I use my own design?

Absolutely. Send your artwork and we will produce to your exact dieline and finish. If you need help, our design team supports structure, artwork and prepress.

Do you help with compliance and regulatory labels?

Yes. We have experience with US and EU cosmetic labeling - ingredient panels, warning labels, barcodes, batch codes, QR and serialization. Tell us your target market in the request.

What certifications does your factory hold?

ISO 9001 (quality), ISO 14001 (environment), SGS-Evaluated Print Quality (SGS & Co Recognition of Achievement, utilizing G7 Color Management Methodology), GSV (security), ICTI (social responsibility) and FSC chain of custody. Certificates are available on request.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. We ship worldwide via DHL, FedEx, UPS air, sea freight and door-to-door services. We handle export documentation and can quote freight in your request.

How do I get a quotation?

Use the contact form with your product type, quantity and target price. Our team replies within 24 hours (48 hours for detailed multi-line requests) with a recommended material/process combination and quotation.

What is your one-stop service?

Labels, folding cartons, rigid boxes and flexible pouches from one factory. A matched label + box + pouch system keeps your brand consistent and your supply chain simple.

What information helps KAYU quote faster?

The most useful starting brief includes the product, required format, finished size, quantity range, destination market, delivery destination and current artwork status. Those details make it easier to comment on the real production plan instead of reacting to a partial request.

Can one project include labels, boxes and related inserts?

Yes. Many B2B packaging jobs run more smoothly when adjacent components are reviewed together, especially where finish matching, compliance notes or shipping performance need to stay aligned across the final pack.

Do you help compare materials and finishes before sampling?

Yes. Early comparison usually focuses on what the pack has to do in the real world: protect the product, meet market expectations, stay readable and move through production without unnecessary delays.

How can repeat orders stay aligned with earlier approvals?

Repeatability is easier to protect when the original brief records material direction, finish logic, linked components, market requirements and production tolerances instead of focusing only on a first sample impression.
