Reclosable Foil Liner Labels - Peel & Reseal Barrier Labels
A peel-and-reseal label adds barrier functionality to an existing pack without changing the pack itself. The label carries a foil laminate with a controlled adhesive: peel it open to reach the contents, press it back down and it reseals, continuing to protect against moisture.
This is the lowest-cost route to a reclosable pack — applied to cartons, pouches and rigid boxes on your existing line.
Key Features
- Reseal without re-tooling — upgrade an existing pack without changing its structure
- Foil laminate barrier — structure matched to your product and filling line (PET/AL/PE and PET/VMPET/PE laminates available).
- Controlled adhesive — opens cleanly and reseals reliably; reseal performance is confirmed against your filling and storage requirements.
- Printable face stock — your brand, opening instructions and handling marks
- Supplied on rolls — for hand or machine application

Peel & reseal foil liner labels — typical industry reference
The points below describe how this type of label is normally built and what is checked. They are typical industry reference notes, not measured values for your order. The final construction is set together with your engineers against the opening on your pack.
| Basic construction | Face stock + aluminium-foil barrier layer + controlled peel-and-reseal adhesive + release liner |
| Barrier layer | Aluminium foil laminate, so the label keeps protecting after it has been peeled and pressed back down |
| Adhesive | Controlled (peel-and-reseal) adhesive — the opening force has to be high enough to stay shut and light enough to reopen by hand |
| Formats | Roll labels, die-cut to the opening on your pack; also supplied as a full-lid label |
| Applies to | Folding cartons, flexible pouches, rigid boxes and tubes, on your existing line |
What decides whether it works
- Opening force against reseal force — the two have to be balanced so the label stays shut in transit but still lifts by hand.
- Barrier continuity across the opening — the foil layer has to stay intact where the label is lifted.
- Repeat resealing — the tack has to survive being opened and closed again.
- Solvent residue — the reference test method is headspace gas chromatography–mass spectrometry (HS-GC/MS).
- Food-contact compliance — face stock, foil, adhesive and ink all have to meet the applicable food-contact requirements.
Standards and compliance
This product is made to our internal control standard together with the applicable food-contact regulations. Food-contact declarations and a solvent-residue (HS-GC/MS) test report are provided on request.
